Blessing on Purpose

When I got saved the Lord specifically spoke to me about England and going there to release a new sound of heaven.
At the beginning of this year I was invited to minister with my Pastor in the UK.  It was a dream come true, but also the word of God over my life that came to pass.  I did not ask how I am getting there or where the finances would come from.  I knew that the Lord spoke to me and all I had to do is step out in faith, which means trusting in the relationship I have with my Father.  I knew that it was time so I stepped out and said YES of Course I would go!  I bought my plane ticket, which God provided the finances for, my accommodation, food and travel was paid in full.  So I left for England on the 21st of July 2011 and off I went to do what God has called me to do in England.

So the first night of ministry I was about to minister with the church band, when my guitar broke completely.  There I was standing not being able to use my guitar.  Immediately I heard the Holy Spirit say, "You have two choices. You can either let this put you off and distract you, or you can just  worship and usher in the glory and release my presence in this place."  So I said "Lord you send me here to release your presence, the guitar is your problem.  I have no idea where I am getting a new one or even borrow one.  I don't care, You sort it out."  We had an absolute awesome time that night in God's presence.  God healed people, restored people and the prophetic flowed like I haven't seen it a very long time!
The very next day a awesome couple came to my hotel and took me to a music shop and bought me a brand new guitar. Better than the previous one and the one that I have been trusting God for.
God started speaking to me about blessing even before I got on the plane to England and I really just trusted God to speak to me and reveal to me about my position in Him.  Sometimes we know God for God who needs to be honored and we feel we need to constantly work for stuff. By the way I really battled with this in my life.  I always felt that if I don't spend 4hours in prayer with God that He won't use me or bless me.  I never really understood my position in God, the position of Royalty.  I knew I was His daughter and that He loves me, but there is a difference in understanding it and truly knowing and feeling and seeing it!
And so the Lord started speaking to me about blessing and favor and He said to me that unless we have a revelation of our position in Him, we will battle to understand blessing and favor and so many of us walk with the knowing that we are supposed to be blessed and we are working so hard to gain that blessing that we never truly receive that blessing.

The one morning on my trip we had the morning off and I stayed in my room to really just sit with God and hear what was on His heart that day.
The Holy Spirit prompted me to read the whole book of Ruth.  I started reading and I realized that I was in a very similar place as Ruth....I was in a different country, my loved ones far away from me, but my heart was longing for the One who called me His own, my heart was longing for God so badly that I could not wait for Him to enter my room and I could just be with Him...I will follow Him wherever He goes. I just love Him so much!

Ruth followed Naomi and left everything that was familiar to enter the unfamiliar land with its people.  I believe that Ruth had an encounter with God in a very real way.  God honored Ruth's commitment to Naomi, but I do believe that Ruth could only keep such a commitment if she had an encounter. (Ruth 1)

Ruth positioned herself to receive the blessing and the favor of Boaz, ultimately the blessing of God.
Ruth 2:2-3
And Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, Let me go to the field and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I shall find favor. Naomi said to her, Go, my daughter.3  And [Ruth] went and gleaned in a field after the reapers; and she happened to stop at the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.4  And behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem and said to the reapers, The Lord be with you! And they answered him, The Lord bless you!5  Then Boaz said to his servant who was set over the reapers, Whose maiden is this?

Ruth's obedience got her to a place of position....Boaz noticed her even before she spoke to him.
When Ruth asked Boaz if she may glean and gather after the reapers, he allowed her...but when he asked her to not glean in any other field and to stay close by his maidens...favor started.  Also the blessing came the moment He invited to eat and drink  and offered her protection.
I came to realize that the moment we are obedient to the voice of God, blessing and favor follows but the amazing thing with that is when you are obedient there is protection for you as well.  Boaz offered to protect Ruth not only provide for her.  It is the same with God.  When I went to England I travelled on my own and I was alone the first day in a huge unfamiliar country.  Was I scared??? YES!  Did I feel like crying  YES I did!  But I realized that God is my protector and that I am in the center of His perfect will therefore I can count on Him protecting me.
The amazing thing is that God wants to bless us.  He wants us to have the best not just spiritually but also financially.  He wants to prosper us!!! In Ruth 2:15-16 the bible says that Boaz ordered his men to let Ruth glean and that they should let handfuls of grain fall on the ground on purpose so that she could pick it up.
Ruth 2:15-16
And when she got up to glean, Boaz ordered his young men, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and do not reproach her.16  And let fall some handfuls for her on purpose and let them lie there for her to glean, and do not rebuke her.

He is a good God and it is in His heart for us to walk in favor and blessing.  I realized that God releases blessing and favor on purpose. Every blessing that I receive is done purposefully.  You know what the purpose of the blessing is...LOVE.  God bless us because He loves us and we obey Him because we love Him.

So many of us are serving God but we don't truly know that we are blessed.  You know we are bless whether we know it or not. The only way that we will see the blessing manifest in our lives is when we walk in obedience. Obedience is not always easy, because it means that we go against our carnal nature, it means that we will have to die to self and every desire of our flesh, it means that we will at times have to face obstacles.  We walk in obedience because we know who we are in Christ Jesus. Unless we know who we are we will not walk in obedience.  Obedience comes from the revelation of who Jesus is. Obedience is not suppose to be a heavy for us, obedience is suppose to be a joy that flows out of our relationship with Jesus. When we understand our relationship with Jesus we understand our position.  The word of God says in Galatians 3:29   And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham’s Seed], then you are Abraham’s offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise.

Our position is heirs of the promise, heirs to the blessing of Abraham!!!!!
God made covenant with Abraham in Gen 12:2-3  And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].3  And I will bless those who bless you [who confer prosperity or happiness upon you] and curse him who curses or uses insolent language toward you; in you will all the families and kindred of the earth be blessed [and by you they will bless themselves].

I wan to tell you today, that you are blessed and highly favored by God, not because you deserve it but because HE loves you!  He will purposefully bless you!  Stop trying so hard to receive the blessing, step into relationship with Jesus, obedience flows from relationship and from obedience flows the blessing!  The blessing is already waiting for you...just position yourself to receive it!

It is God's purpose to bless us!!!! We are to live blessed life's, we are to walk in favor all the days of our lives.

The Secret Place of His Presence

In all of us there is a yearning for our Creator.  We were created to long for God, to yearn for His presence, whether we know it or not.  We were created to love and be loved, but we were also created to experience perfect love.  And that is something we can only receive from God.  It brings a peace of mind when we find ourselves in a difficult situation.  It also brings a joy unspeakable, a joy that the world will never understand and a joy that the world cannot give nor take away. It is an acceptance that's only found within God.
Regardless of your situation.

Psalm 26:1-4
1VINDICATE ME, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity; I have [expectantly] trusted in, leaned on, and relied on the Lord without wavering and I shall not slide.
2Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; test my heart and my mind.
3For Your loving-kindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in Your truth [faithfully].
4I do not sit with false persons, nor fellowship with pretenders;

Sometimes we find ourselves in situations and all we want to do is run away and hide away, instead of running to God.  David was a young, handsome, strong man and he was very talented on the harp.  This alone gave him alot of favour amongst leaders, and women.  So one can imagine that there was alot of people who was jealous of David, not just Saul.  Regardless, of all the attention he got from people David walked in integrity and he trusted and relied on God without even asking questions.  David knew that when he was in God he would not slide and he knew he could trust God with all his heart.  David allowed God to search his heart, because he knew that if there is doubt within his heart that it could mean the end of him.  The word of God is clear when it says that a man or woman who is double minded is like a wave being tossed around by the wind.  David made sure that God took away every form of doubt that might have been in his heart.

David made sure that he got to know God.  Remember, we can only trust someone we know and we can only know someone by spending time with that person.    David said in verse 3 "for your loving kindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in Your truth faithfully.
David could only have said this if he spend time with God, lived with God 24/7 and being in relationship with God.  David did not allow people to speak into his life who did not spoke Truth - the Word of God.  Verse 4 "I do not sit with false persons, nor fellowship with pretenders;"  David kept his mind and eyes on God.  David knew the  presence of God.  This was his key!!!!

Psalm 26:8
8Lord, I love the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your glory dwells.

9Gather me not with sinners and sweep me not away [with them], nor my life with bloodthirsty men,
10In whose hands is wickedness, and their right hands are full of bribes.
11But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; redeem me and be merciful and gracious to me.
12My foot stands on an even place; in the congregations will I bless the Lord.

Verse 8 David loved the presence of God, he loved the habitation of God's presence.  In Ps 27: David says
1THE LORD is my Light and my Salvation--whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?
3Though a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, [even then] in this will I be confident.
4One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.(A)
5For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock

All David asked of God is that he could dwell in His presence all the days of his life.  David lived in the presence of God everyday of his earthly live. All he wanted to do is to look at God and think about him everyday.  David knew that if he do this that God will take care of the rest.

We need to create a lifestyle of where we love the presence of God more than anything and that when trouble comes our way that we will not be shaken, but that we will continue to yearn and crave for the presence of God.  So many of us tend to look away from God and walk out of His presence and focus our attention on the situation.  The next thing that happens is that the presence of the specific situation overwhelms us.  We need to get to that place where our relationship with God is on such a level that we can say "Lord I trust you, because I have seen Your loving kindness before my eyes."

There is a song that says: "In the presence of Jehova, God Almighty, Prince of Peace.  Troubles vanish, hearts are mended, in the Presence of the King."

My friend it is only in the presence of God that we find perfect peace; it is only through spending time in His presence and getting to know Him, that we can truely say I TRUST YOU LORD.  When we are in the presence of God, He hides us in the secret place of His presence.  This speaks of an intimate place a relationship.  It's only through relationsip that we learn to be intimate with Him.

Psalm 84:1-2
"How lovely are Your tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!  Ny soul yearns, yes, even pines and is homesick for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out and sing for joy to the living God."

The more you spend time with Him the more You know and want to know Him.  We need to come to a place that if we do not spend time with Him that we become homesick and lovesick after Him.
My prayer is that you would find Him in the secret  place and that Holy Spirit would stir a hunger and a deeper yearning within your spirit to know Him, to be with Him, to love Him, and to worship Him.  Run to Him in your time of need.  Look to Him and not to the situation.  Let Holy Spirit overwhelm you and not the situation.

"Love, Love, Love!"

It s all about love love love love!  Growing up in a broken home, my journey with my Dad has been one of restoring love in every aspect of my life, however I am still learning more and more about this awesome most amazing God that I serve and am inlove with.  The more I know Him the more I love Him, the more Holy Spirit reveals a dimension of His personality to me the more and deeper I fall inlove with this awesome Lover of mine. God is all about LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Ps 1:1-3 "Blessed is the man, who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the paths of sinners, nor sits in the seats of the scornful. 2. But his delight is in the law of the Lord. And in His laws he meditates day and night.3. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruits in it's season, Who's leaves also shall not whither, and whatever he does shall prosper."

The question came to me..."Who is the ungodly?" ...is it only those in the world, sinnners?...clearly I heard Holy Spirit said "No, it is not. It is those who have not adopted/changed to live according to what God desires.  It can be people who is sitting in church...ministers,pastors,sunday school teachers, elders.  These people are not allowing Holy Spirit to be in control, which means they still have a worldly mentality. They have not adopted a God mentality.
The word clearly says that the man who does not follow the ungodly, do what sinners do, sits with the scornful - he is a happy man.  This verse brings me then to what does this man do then. The word clearly speaks of this kind of man/woman delights in the law of the Lord and he meditates day and night in God's laws.  No when we think of the law we think of the old testmant and everything the people in the old testamant had to do to be save or pleasing/acceptable to God.  However, Jesus came to fulfill the law, never to take it away.

Rom 13:8-10 "Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. 9 For this, "YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, YOU SHALL NOT STEAL, YOU SHALL NOT COVET," and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF." 10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; love therefore is the fulfillment of the law."

When you love one another, you have fulfill the law.  In Rom 13:10 it says that love does no wrong to another.  Let me tell you the story....
When God created man He wanted to have an intimate relationship with man.  With Isreal God said that I will be your God and you will be My peole and I will come and live with you.  However, when Moses went to the mountain and God manifest His presence, Israel were scared and said to Moses that he must speak to God on behalf of them.  God made the ten commandments not to place a burden on Israel.  He made the ten commandments firstly because the people did not want to be in close contact, intimate with Him, therefore He used the ten commandments as a wedding proposal.  God wanted to become one with Israel that day already but they were scared and turned God down.  When we in a relationship with our loved one we do not want to hurt the one we love.  Same with God.  God saw the relationship with His people as sacred and He used the ten commandments to protect this relationship and also to protect the people involved from getting hurt.  God would protect the relationship by all means.  If you look at Rom 13:9 adultry, murder, stealing ect hurts a relationship.  And God wanted to protect it.  God made these commandments to establish a relationship.
God longed and longs for us to live with Him habitually, He don't just wanna visit with us anymore, He wants to habitate. Now, if you take Ps1:2 in the context of the new testamant it says "but he delights and desire is in the LOVE of the Lord. And he meditates/think of His LOVE day and night."  This is a sold out lover.  This is what God is looking for.  This man/woman desires and delights in the intimacy they have with God.  This man/woman will habitually be thinking of LOVE,in other words...GOD. The love of their lives.  This man/woman will be planted by the river of living waters and they will bear fruit.  What is this fruit?  FRUIT OF LOVE.   This only comes by being intimate with God.  Remember that through intimacy comes change of heart and character.
God longs to be intimate with us to be one with us.  He is endlessly persuing you and me!!  He loves you and me with an everlasting love.  All He asks of you is that you would love Him to!

My prayer is that as you read this, that Holy Spirit will show you a deeper love of the Father and that you would walk constantly in the revelation of God's love for you and that you would love Him more!May this stir in your spirit!
